spiritual reality
Chiropractic (meaning ‘done by hand’) is a gentle healthcare system based on the scientific fact that the body is a self healing and self regulating organism, under the control of the brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of the body. Interference with the vital messages the nerves carry can be responsible for the inability to experience wellbeing. Chiropractic is a natural, drug free treatment carried out by a chiropractor. It aims to improve health and wellbeing by improving the nervous system.

Chiropractors have a brilliant understanding of the structure of the spinal column, spinal cord and central nervous system as well as knowledge of the chemical reactions and processes that occur in the nervous system and how these affect the working of the body.  Contrary to the way some people think of chiropractic, it is actually more about the nervous system and keeping good open channels of communication so that the innate healing ability of the body can work effectively and efficiently, than the adjustment of bones.  Regular adjustments can detect or prevent spinal stress, keeping the body at an optimal level and maintaining general wellbeing.  Chiropractic patients range from babies to the elderly.  Vertebrae can become misaligned during the birth process, though if detected early are easily corrected.

Chiropractic has successfully treated conditions such as Arthritis, Asthma, Emotional Problems, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Low Back Pain, Neck Pain, Sports injuries, Shoulder, arm and hand problems, Colic, PMS, Scoliosis, Disc Herniation, Ear infections, Headaches and Migraines, Hip problems, Knee problems, Sinus problems, Whiplash and motor vehicle accidents.
