spiritual reality

Reflexology is the practice of using the hands and fingers to apply pressure point therapy to the feet. Pressure points on the feet reflect every part of the body, both internal and external. By stimulating the corresponding reflexes with the reflexology technique, the body is able to clear congestion deposits and heal itself. Blood circulation is improved as the reflexes to the internal organs and glands as well as the external physicality are stimulated and blockages removed. It seems that working the reflexes to a certain area of the body rather than the area itself has a longer term affect as it promotes healing from the inside out and doesn't just massage and sooth the external area.

As the circulation is stimulated, so too are nutrients deposited to every part of the body, assisting with the removal of waste products and toxins. Healing reactions may be felt as a side effect to this process such as runny nose, increased perspiration, urination and bowel movements and headaches.

Reflexology is a great treatment for ailments such as headache, menstrual symptoms, backache and digestion problems. It is a wonderful therapy for general wellbeing and relaxation. This therapy is not recommended on pregnant women.
