The Scenar is a bio-feedback system, invented by Russian scientists, that has proven to be an extremely effective form of pain management. The Scenar Device is a small box. The therapist moves the device over the skin, where it sends out a series of signals and reads the response, relaying the information to the brain. The signal is sent out when a change is detected in the electrical properties of the skin. There are some visible reactions to the skin such as reddening, numbness and stickiness and at this time there will be a change in the readout of the Scenar. |
